James Stewart Riding at Home

James Stewart is sorely missed at the 2009 Motocross Nationals this year, but seems to be spending most of his time making some great videos and spending time rubbing shoulders with the fans — very cool.  Though he is missed, he’s still feeding the James Steward fans with some much needed and appreciated video as he’s preparing for the X-Games. James Stewart Ride Day

I just saw this video of James Stewart riding and it’s simply amazing what he can do on 2 wheels.  The whips, and wheelies through the woops were nothing short of spectacular.

I guess James is having a ride day at Milestone MX in SoCal.  I wish I lived closer so I could attend. See the video for the full details. [Read more →]

Burned Out…

Man, I can’t believe this is my first real post of 2009.  We have a new president, I’ve been riding in sunny, warm Mesquite, NV two times, and shoveled more snow than I care to.  So I’ve just not had the energy to post anything — You could say I’m a little burned out.  I hoping this little blurb will get me back on track and I’ll start coming up with new and exciting things to post about. 2008 Motocross Nationals are Here!

Glen Helen here we come!

Although it’s been a great supercross season, we are at the eve of the 2008 Motocross Nationals, and I couldn’t be more excited. Their is just something special about 30 minutes + 2 laps x 2 that is just awesome. [Read more →]

2008 Seattle Supercross

Wow is all I can say. I’m not sure how many of us out here in Internet-dom have seen or even follow the Supercross series. I’m not even sure how many of you actually get the SPEED channel (I don’t–but then again, I don’t have cable/satellite either :) ). There have been a handful of the Supercross events on CBS as well, but not nearly enough to get the complete picture of how great a season this has been.

We have had a lot of Supercross season’s over the last few years that were dominated by the GOAT (Ricky Carmichael), and then came #7, a.k.a. James Stewart who has done the same thing. Which for the fan really makes for some boring races. No one really enjoys watching everyone else race for 2nd place. I know I don’t. Although watching the two best riders to ever to put a leg over a motorcycle, is certainly awesome, but watching action packed racing is a lot more enjoyable. [Read more →]

Chad Reed’s Championship to Lose?

With James Stewart out for the season (injured left knee), and a 19 point lead over 2nd place Kevin Windham, is the 2008 Supercross Championship Chad Reed’s to lose? [Read more →]

2008 Anaheim I Supercross

After watching Anaheim I Supercross, I just wanted to put down my thoughts.

How about the Lites class! Man what a barn burner. Great racing.

Results:

  1. Ryan Dungey (28)
  2. Jason Lawrence (338, aka J-Law)
  3. Justin Brayton (114 — GREAT ride for him)
  4. The Aussie Daniel James Reardon (122)
  5. The rookie Austin Stroupe (51)
