1997 Las Vegas 125cc Supercross

I am truly a fan of older supercross racing, and I spend probably way too much time looking for old races to watch. I’m not even sure how I found this one? You are about to watch the 1997 Las Vegas 125cc Supercross, East vs West shootout. [Read more →]

Ford Excursion - Diesel

As some of you may know, I’ve recently purchased a 2001 Ford Excursion Limited 4×4 with a Ford (International) Powerstroke Diesel. This is my first vehicle I’ve ever owned with a diesel, and let me tell you, I’ve got a lot to learn. They are very different than your standard gas engine, starting with the way they start, the way they drive, the fuel they use, and the sheer amount of oil the engine takes when you change it. It’s been a very fun learning experience to say the least. [Read more →]

My Next Bike: 2008 Honda CRF450R

I’ve been bike-less for the last year or so, and it’s been killing me.

This year, I’m at the point where I can get myself a new one, and I’m a little stuck between the RM-Z450 (EFI - Electronic Fuel Injection) and the CRF450R. At this point, I am leaning toward the CRF though, as early production RM-Z’s were returned to the factory due to some problems. I’m not sure what problems, but one can only assume it relates to the EFI. It’s also the first year for a production Motocross bike to have it (we won’t count Cannondale). [Read more →]

2002-2003 Honda CR250R Service Manual

Just to avoid confusion, this is not the service manual for the CRF250R. It is indeed the manual for the 2-stroke CR250R, model years 2002-2003. However, my understanding is that Honda did not change anything on the CR250R after model year 2003 other than [Read more →]

2003 Yamaha YZ250F Service Manual

Typically I get these manuals because I need to help someone with something on their bike. In this case, my brother had a 2003 YZ250F that he needed some help with so he sent me his manual.

The Yamaha manuals are a little different in that they include the Service Manual and a Parts Manual. [Read more →]

Moonlight (CBS - TV14-LV)

Moonlight TV showI’m sure you’ve all seen the ads for Moonlight — the show about vampires (vamps, as Mick St. John calls them), and I’ll be honest, I didn’t think it would be a very good show. In fact, I had no plans of watching it. However, my family started watching it and started to get into it.

One Friday evening, I didn’t have anything better to do, so I watched it. I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed the show. [Read more →]
