Kevin Windham to ride some 2009 Outdoor Nationals

I was checking out RacerX as I do on occasion, and found a video they did recently (June 10th) on Kevin Windham. As most of you know, he’s my favorite rider, and I love watching him ride. I don’t have any false illusions that he’s going to win a championship, I just like him and love watching him ride. {Read more →}

Alliance of Action Sports Motocross Race Archive

One of my biggest complaints so far about the 2009 Lucas Oils Motocross Nationals has been the lack of coverage for moto 1 of each race.  As a fan, I don’t want to “hear” how moto 1 went, I want to “see” how moto 1 went.  Though I do appreciate the short synopsis they show on Speed and NBC, I really want to see the entire event, and that means as many laps as I can from both moto 1 & moto 2! {Read more →}

James Stewart Riding at Home

James Stewart is sorely missed at the 2009 Motocross Nationals this year, but seems to be spending most of his time making some great videos and spending time rubbing shoulders with the fans — very cool.  Though he is missed, he’s still feeding the James Steward fans with some much needed and appreciated video as he’s preparing for the X-Games. {Read more →}

James Stewart Ride Day

I just saw this video of James Stewart riding and it’s simply amazing what he can do on 2 wheels.  The whips, and wheelies through the woops were nothing short of spectacular.

I guess James is having a ride day at Milestone MX in SoCal.  I wish I lived closer so I could attend. See the video for the full details. {Read more →}

Cool Kevin Windham Videos

As some of you may know by now — if you can read anyway :) that I’m a huge Kevin Windham fan.

Well, in my quest to find out if Kevin is going to be racing any or all of the 2009 Locus Oil AMA Pro Motocross season, I’ve found quite a few very cool videos that I just had to share. {Read more →}

Kevin Windham at Piru MX Park

I am a huge Kevin Windham fan.  I have been since I got back into riding in 2002.  He’s one of the smoothest riders on the planet.  I just love watching him ride.  I was also very sad that he didn’t race the 2008 AMA Motocross season.  This year it appears that he might be racing it.  I’ve heard nothing that says he’s not, though, I’ve also not heard he would be either, but I hope he is… {Read more →}

CPSC staff recommends against exempting children’s dirt bikes and ATVs from strict anti-lead law

The reason the lead ban, and the reason it’s still in place for youth ATV and Motorcycles has some clarification.  I really hope we can all (I know I’ve asked before) get behind the new bills and urge all of our local government officials to support these new bills so we can stop the madness.  It has gone on long enough. {Read more →}

Not Out of the Woods Yet – S. 22, the Omnibus

Although it is great news that the House of Representatives failed to pass S. 22, the Omnibus Public Land Management Act, we are not quite out of the woods (pardon the pun) yet…

Finally Some Good News — Omnibus Public Lands Bill Stopped!!!

Finally some good news for the OHV community!!  This just goes to show that if we group together and work as a team we can accomplish something great.  Stopping this mass land grab IMOP qualifies as something great!

I’m also pleased with my very own representative Rob Bishop!  It’s nice to see all the letters I sent him did some good and that he is in fact looking out for his constituents best interests! {Read more →}

Bill to Ban Riders Under Age 16

Is it me or are we as an OHV community being assaulted by the government?  It sure as heck feels like we are, and not one bit pleased about it, and you shouldn’t be either…

From what I gather this particular bill that I’m referencing is a bill for the state of Illinois, so your state, if different, shouldn’t be affected… or will it?  Even if the bill is only in front of the IL legislature, you can be assured that their will be many states that will eventually follow suit.  Do you want that in your state?  I sure as heck don’t. I read the synopsis on HB3914 from the Illinois General Assembly and it would appear that it is only in the state of IL, but I’m not completely sure, so don’t quote me on it in case I’m wrong. {Read more →}
